Parlay in NumbersThe online casino gambling industry experienced a lot of consolidation measures
over the past year as a result of the tough economy coupled with the fact that
extreme growth in niche gaming sites over the past several years has now led to
a period of natural consolidation as bigger companies buy up smaller sites that
have grown into valuable assets. As a result of this stage in the industry’s
process, however, Parlay Entertainment reported a rather poor financial report
for the full year of 2009. (more…)

The Hungarian government has made some very deep changes to the country’s land
gambling and poker laws to the extent that they are almost no longer going to
work! The Hungarian officials have altered legislation within the 1991 Hungarian
Gambling Act to place incredibly high taxes and even more stringent regulations
on smaller local poker clubs. These taxes are meant to offset government costs
and really help the government create a more stable economy through tightly
controlled gambling interests in the country. (more…)

The United States has heard a lot about the current controversial state of the
US internet gambling industry in the news media as politicians fight the
implementation of the UIGEA enforcement regulations. But really, if industry
analysts are right, the US market ain’t seen nothing yet. Predictions indicate
that politicians could very well use the US internet gambling issues as a
platform demonstration of current debates that center on Constitutional granted
federal powers. There are many politicians who feel that the Republicans are
pushing too much federal control with their anti-online casino gambling bills
some feel that the issue shouldn’t even exist within the US federal government
and that this is actually an issue much better suited for control at the state
level. (more…)

computer and programming knowledge to create an online game, a catchy name, and
a nice slogan. Of course there is more to operating an online casino than just
building the actual site. Players will probably not worry about the technical
issues of online casinos and how an internet gambling site makes it big in the
industry. (more…)
